Cluster Composition

Currently the IRIDIA cluster is composed of five logical racks (1 to 5). The first one contains 8 computational nodes with four cores each. The second rack features another 32 computational nodes with eight cores each. The third one 16 computation nodes with sixteen cores each. The fourth one 16 computation nodes with thirty-two cores each. The fifth rack has 4 computation nodes with twenty-four cores each.

In total the cluster is currently composed of 1152 CPU cores (32 in rack 1, 256 in rack 2, 256 again in rack 3, 512 in rack 4, and 96 in rack 5) dedicated to computations.

Rack 1

Rack 1 consists of 8 computational nodes (c1-[7,8,9,10,11,12,14,15]).
